The crankcase holds a crankshaft that’s ready to handle the increased balance ratio, as well as a counterbalancer for superior vibration control. Camshafts are designed to maximize the torque available in the low and mid ranges. High tensioned steel is used for its combination of strength and thinness. Spacious chassis, allowing room for even an aggressive racer to move around during the moto, and the ATV’s body panels that the rider contacts during operation are of a softer plastic material for greater comfort. The wheel has been designed with the inner lip rolled in. Wheels are set motocross-spec wide, near the maximum allowable 50 inches, for great cornering ability. The Dun lop tires are grippy with a great pattern for cornering, and at 20 inches in the rear and 21 inches in the front, provide much better ground clearance than the competition, that makes the new 2012 Yamaha YFZ450R fun to ride off-road. Pro-taper handlebars are mounted on 4-way clamps for exceptional adjustability. The rear swingarm is crafted of strong, gravity-fed aluminum, and it’s matched to a fully adjustable 46mm KYB piggyback shock absorber for excellent handling. Rear wheel travel is 11.0 inches for comfort even on tough terrain. Yamaha RD-350 in 2013

The Yamaha has announced the plans to reintroduce the old Yamaha RD 350 which was one of the most powerful bikes in 1970′s by the end of 2013.The bike produced 45 bhp at the crankshaft and around 35 hp at rear wheel. Those days the Yamaha RD 350 was 2 stroke although there were four-stroke models the two-stroke models of the RD 350 were well received. But for the new bike with the new European Union Emission 3 standards manufacturing a two stroke with emission standards is a whole lot of money to be invested as two-stroke technologies are not used these days and the technologies haven’t developed as they are not used.So Yamaha will go with a four stroke engine for the bike. The bike is a true naked bike with emphasis on city commuting and joyful highway riding.Yamaha plans to create a new segment for the bike and also the bike is a direct competitor to Honda CB 300R in Brazil and also a competitor to KAwasaki Ninja 250R although the Ninja and Rd 350 are in different class it could give Ninja run for the money with its looks and styling.

Design:

The bike has a muscular look and feel. The fuel tank is made up of two piece and the front side fairings under the fuel tanks raise up to the fuel tank and form a part of the fuel tank in the front. The panels have Yamaha Branding and Logo. The Headlight with a headlight mask on the sides shows the muscles. The 6 spoke alloy wheels are twisted in shape and are available in black color. The exhaust is positioned under the engine to enhance the centre of gravity for the bike. The silencer is made from stainless steel. The rear split seat with elevation for the pillion shows the sportiveness of the bike. The open chain which is the craze among the youth is also present. The bike has a ‘O’ ring chain.Rear Mud guard is not present on this bike. The rear number plate is made from Carbon-fibre.Judging by the looks the rear tyre looks huge Yamaha did not reveal the specifications of the tyres or any other things on the bike. The Disc brakes are allocated on the front and rear with the front Dis brake on the left side of the wheel and the rear dis brake on the right hand side of the wheel. The front disc brake looks huge. The speedometer is integrated into the headlight and the windscreen is too small to be noticed. The silencer’s have under cowl to protect from mud.The whole engine is in white color. The bike has Delta Box frame and monoshock suspension linked with the rear swing arm.RD 350 is engraved on side panel which carries the air filter.

Engine:

The specualtion of the engine are as follows:It would be a four stroke single cylinder liquid cooled engine with a displacement of 350 cc and the engine has four valves with DOHC configuration. The crossplane crankshaft seen in Yamaha YZF R1 will make its way into the bike. The bike will be targeted at Learners class in Europe so it will have a maximum of 32 bhp and the torque figures are not known. The silencer will be free flowing to improve the performance of the bike.the final Drive is chain.

Ride Quality:

the bike with 32 bhp power and a free flowing exhaust is a fun to ride on the city and highways and is tourer bike rather than a track oriented sports bike. The seating position is more relaxed and forgiving the bike dives into corners very quickly and with the large rear tyre holds on to the road without shaking and skidding.

Price and Availability:

Yamaha had not yet decided the price although it might be priced competitively against the like of Ninja 250 R and Honda CB 300R.the availability of the bike s from the starting of january 2014 as the model goes into production in late 2013.

Colors:

there are three colors available

Yamaha YZ125 Preview

Yamaha Motor Corporation has released their 2013 line of YZ and YZ-F motocross race bikes. The model list includes the mini YZ85, the industry changing YZ250F and YZ450F, and the YZ125 and YZ250 two stroke staples. After hearing the desires of many for two stroke offerings, Yamaha has kept both the YZ125 and YZ250 in their line. Years of development have earned both bikes various honors and accolades, and with that, they remain unchanged. This is not a bad thing, as the aluminum frame, Kayaba 48 millimeter SSS forks, and power valved motors that both are outfitted with make them competitive in any class. he bike that began the four stroke movement, the YZ250F remains one of the most durable and competitive bikes on the market. The bilateral beam aluminum chassis and Kayaba Suspension allow the rider to guide the bike across any terrain, and the bulletproof small bore motor supplies power to overcome every obstacle.
The frame, intake, engine, and suspension of the YZ450F make the open class bike a revolutionary. With the intake and exhaust designed to feed in one direction, the bike keeps the weight centralized. The “tornado style” exhaust flows underneath the seat, which allows the fumes to exit without issue and eliminates any interference for the rider. The rear shock is also tilted to allow this design.

2013 Yamaha YZ250F Motorcycle

2013 Yamaha YZ450F right side view
The 2013 Yamaha do not have any major revisions. Both the blue YZ250F and YZ450F have been handed new graphics and white rear fenders, while the white versions of both bikes receive black fork guards instead of white. The only other notable change is a switch from Pro Taper handlebars to an identical Yamaha-branded bar. That’s it. No air forks, no redesigned frames and shockingly no fuel injection for the YZ250F, which will remain the only carbureted bike in the 250cc division.
As mentioned, this may mean that Yamaha is saving its development dollars for something big in the near future. Granted, much of that effort "and money" went to the all-new WR450 off-road bike, which is essentially a YZ250F frame with a beefy 450cc thumper engine in it. But what could Yamaha be cooking, if their strategy is to essentially re-release some 2012s in 2013? Our prediction would be an all-new, fuel-injected engine for the 250F. And some major revisions could be in order for the YZ450F, given that some top-level riders like James Stewart have voiced negative opinions about how the bike handles when ridden to 99.5% of its full capabilities.

2013 BlueFlex Yamaha Motorcycle

Yamaha unveiled a new version of its YS250 Fazer for the Brazilian market that runs on gasoline, ethanol fuel, or a mixture of both. The new YS 250 Fazer BlueFlex is Yamaha’s first flex-fuel model, but the manufacturer says it plans to add more BlueFlex models in the future.
According to Yamaha, the BlueFlex model weighs 339.5 pounds, just 2.2 pounds heavier than the original YS250 Fazer, which Yamaha introduced in 2010. Both versions are equipped with 249cc single-cylinder engines with five speed transmissions, 5 gallon fuel tanks, telescopic forks and a rear monoshock with 120mm of travel, front and rear disc brakes and 17-inch wheels.

The 2013 Yamaha YS250 Fazer BlueFlex arrives in Brazilian dealerships this month with a price of 11,690 Brazilian reals US$5,770, up from the 11,279 real US$5,567 price of the gas-powered YS250 Fazer. Yamaha targets annual sales of 5,000 units, compared to 25,000 units for the gas-powered version.
